I have previously worked on TV and documentary film productions not only as a primary camera operator and camera assistant but also supervising diving operations, diving with and organising training for presenters, acting as in-water safety for actors on Drama productions, location scouting and sourcing and setting up specialist underwater camera and dive kit packages. I have a real passion for filming underwater, especially marine life, from developing a new behaviour story to spending days on boats or hours underwater seeking out the more elusive and special creatures.

Through my work I have gained experience of researching then filming sequences of a range of subjects underwater and am competent using the latest innovative camera technology and filming techniques, working and setting up shoots abroad including travel logistics, carnets, acquiring visas, risk assessments and researching locations. I am also a qualified and authorised drone operator with comprehensive knowledge of their regulations and using them to film wildlife.

• Extensive filming experience in 4K and 6K using production standard cameras, audio and lighting equipment, drones and UW housings, 360 rigs UW and aerial, time-lapse/macro/long lens shooting, UV light underwater filming

• Competent with REDs, ZCAMs, Panasonic EVA1/GH5, Sony FX9/FX6/FS5/FS7/A7sii/XDCams, 

• Knowledge of Boxfish/VR Rize 360 cameras, OpenROV UW drones, custom in-water tow/pole cams and more

• Competent with DJI Inspire, Phantom, Mavic Pro Drones 

• Experience setting up and operating large underwater cinema camera systems

• Full face mask / underwater comms experienced

• Competent with data management, editing, colour grading and sound design with FCPX, Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve
